Good news has arrived from New York. My work won the "Photographer of the Year'' at the MUSE Photography Awards.
I am proud that I was able to receive an award that transcended the category as a result of perfecting my expression with wildlife.

This photograph was taken in winter in Shiretoko, on drift ice. Most white-tailed sea eagles come to Hokkaido in winter to overwinter, but some individuals live in this area year round.
