近所の野良猫と打ち解けるのが早い理由。

十字ギツネ。
希少な存在故に悲しい結末を迎える子もいます。
希少を求めていた時期もあったけれど、僕が今写真をする理由はそれでは無くなっています。
この子は１年程前に北海道のとある道を走っていた時に遭遇した子。その道を選ばない方がずっと早く目的地に着けたけど、遠回りしてこっちの道を選んだ時のこと。
なんかちょっとだけ運命を感じた瞬間でした。

Crossfox.
When I first started photography, there was a time when I was looking for something unusual, but now the things I want to convey with my photos have changed.
However, this is a cross fox I came across a year ago when I took a certain road. I could have reached my destination much faster if I had not chosen that road, but I chose to enjoy the detour on a hunch.
It was a bit of a fateful moment.

Honored to be part of the jury panel for this prestigious Global Photography Awards.

今年新たにNYで発足された国際写真賞Global Photography Awardsの審査員として推薦をいただき、参加する事が決定しています。
同団体主催プロジェクトの写真賞では日本人唯一の審査員として携わる事を誇りに思っております。
他にもロンドン、ヨーロッパ、ニューヨークの３つの審査も続きますが、この仕事を全うしたいと思っています。

この度、姫路市立美術館の不動美里館長よりアーティストとして推薦をいただき、姫路女学院リベラルアーツ・ミュージアムゼミ講師を務める事になりました。
先日はご縁をいただいた不動館長との対談と、写真や音を使ってのゼミをおこなってきました。
この機会を通して僕自身も新たな事にチャレンジしながら、良い空間を作っていきたいと思います。

９月21日（土）からは姫路女学院中学校・高等学校内に昨年新設されたギャラリースペースでの個展も予定しています！
